“Celestial Orbits: Order & Chaos” is an algorithmic video created by the movement of bodies in space, guided solely by their mutual gravitational attraction. 1024 celestial bodies are arranged in various geometric configurations, leaving traces as they move. Over time, these traces form a complex interplay of lines, colours, and patterns, generating a visual noise reminiscent of abstract expressionism. Each particle emits a sine wave tone at a unique frequency, creating a soundscape that is conveyed to the audience. The geometric configurations presented are the following: 1 point (single point), 2 points (line segment), 3 points (triangle), 4 points (square), 5 points (pentagon), and infinite points (circle). In each configuration, fixed bodies are placed at the corresponding points.
